Following the lifting of Government restrictions and as part  of the return to normal Church life, the Parish Council have come up with the following measures to counter the risk of spreading the COVID 19 virus. These measures will be reviewed monthly, so please refer to this page for any updates.

  1. Hand sanitiser is available on entry to the Church.

  2. Although we do not ask anyone to wear a facemask, if you would feel more comfortable wearing one please feel free to do so.

  3. We will continue to stand and make a gesture of peace to other members of the congregation. Please avoid handshaking or other physical contact.

  4. When taking communion, we now form a semicircle in the round of the Church and the priest moves around the congregation to offer the sacrament. Following the latest guidelines, the priest will offer the wafer and then offer the wine from the chalice; if anyone is uncomfortable with drinking wine from the chalice then they are quite welcome to sit down after they have taken the wafer.

  5. If you have any queries regarding these safety measures, please do not hesitate to ask the vicar or a Churchwarden.
